2014 chevy 1500 Z71 "off road" leveling kit issues

Recommended Posts

After a lot of research, there's a huge difference between standard z71 and z71 "off road" leveling kit products and installation. If you have any experience on this topic and suggestions feel free to add a comment. I installed a ready lift/pro comp strut spacer and lower spacer on my Z71 "off road". Only issues i have are clicking & clunking sound. I'm concerned about the angles of my axle. I might go with the ready lift 69-3447 product.

Check the lower front spacer bolts. It is common for these to be installed upside down and could come in contact with the half shafts. As far as a "standard" vs "off road" Z71's , the only difference I've ever heard of was when they offered z's in 2WD with the Z71 appearance package. Good luck and welcome.

A 4x4 and a Z71 Silverado are the same front suspension aside from the Rancho shocks/struts. No difference otherwise. Z71 is Z71 off road, unless its a 2WD truck, then it is just stickered as a Z71. They dropped the 2wd Z71 for 2015. The only difference I've ever seen for the leveling kits is aluminum or steel arm.
