Difference in Denali/seirra high country/silverado

Recommended Posts

I don't guess I've ever seen a Denali or a high country but I see it spoken about here on the forum. I've only seen seirra and silverados. Ive figured out its basically each makes fancier lines to their cheaper line but what really makes 1 better than the other? Sorry for a likely silly question but this ol country boy has never seen em but notice a pricier cost

The only difference I can think of other than looks of course is that the High Country has a thicker brown leather interior than any of the trims below it or any of the GMCs including the Denali. The High Country and Denali may have other feature differences, but not sure. The Denali is of course GMC and High Country is Chevy in case you wasn't sure. Denali seems to be pretty high demand with any of the GMCs when someone wants luxury with the truck or SUV.

Yea I knew who made Wat just not specifics. I'll just look at the unfancy poor boy 3500's in duramax. Won't hurt as bad if the Holstein bull pops a dent in it or inside smells like cow

I am curious as well as to what High Country has. The Denali I have seen when shopping for my Sierra. But I find it hard to believe the thickness in the leather would be it.

The leather in the HCs are different than what they use in the other trims. It's thicker so it's tougher. Not sure if it's anything else, but I do know the HC leather is thicker than what they use on any other trim including the Denali.

The only things exclusive to these trim levels in the HDs beyond badging and using/not using chrome in some areas are as follows:

High Country = Saddle Leather interior

Denail = Reconfigurable electronic upper dash

Everything else as far as I know can be optioned in on other trim levels. I was looking at two different trucks. The LTZ that I bought was more expensive and had more equipment than the High Country I was also considering.

Yup same here, we ended up choosing an ltz over a high country because my wife hates the high country interior. My ltz cost more then the high country did. Only option my truck didn't have was rear seat entertainment.

I optioned my SLT out with every option a Denali is capable of having. The only thing less is the configurable instrument cluster. Minor trim on the seats, which actually the SLT's look richer. They do not have the cloth bands and edge bead. I wanted a Denali with chrome bumpers, and monochrome was the only option, that is why I opted for the SLT.
