Question

Hi There
Had an issue where the drivers HVAC controls got wet and they didn't work as expected after drying out. If you changed the output position, you had to reset the hot cold settings to the desired position, among other issues. Tried a few things to get things working right again, including disconnecting the battery cables and shorting them to discharge any capacitors in the system/etc to force the system to 're-initialize' itself. No luck.
I ended up replacing the controls with the same part: http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=3485814&jsn=236
When I first keyed the ignition to run, you could hear the system re-initialize itself and the controls now work as expected. Except it's as if the BCM has forgotten about the rear HVAC controls. The rear knobs have no effect - the rear blower speed/position is now fully linked to the driver controls.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
