More active silverado forum?

Recommended Posts

Most post do get replies, however depending on the subject, how the title is worded, and what someone is needing/wanting makes a difference. There are some topics that have hundreds of pages with replies. The members here will help you if they can, but if they don't know the correct answer, why respond?

Is it because no one replied to your topics instantly?

If you can find a better site that is as well moderated, be sure to say hello to the leprechaun for me as you are cashing in your pot o gold to.

You only have 4 posts. If you see empty threads I'd recommend replying to them.

A lot of topics with no replies have to do with vague topics or not enough detail in the actual post. If you can find a "silverado" forum out there more active, with more helpful members and moderators than this one I will eat my GM-Trucks.com shirt. As has been mentioned the topic could also be avoided because someone hasn't used the search function and repeated a commonly asked topic.

Also if you see a topic that hasn't been replied to, rather than complaining about it, why not go in there yourself and reply.

No there is not. We get close to 900,000 unique viewers per month and we have been around for 15 years.

Did a quick google search for Chevrolet Silverado Truck Forum and the only site that ranked above us was a paid ad from General Motors themselves.

From personal experience you would be hard pressed to find a better group of members either...Might also have something to do with these numbers and rankings. Just some food for thought.

Agreed. The members here are the best I've seen. All of the other forums I've been on it's just a free for all.

You didn't hit any spots, Most of the lack of replies have been explained to you already from the MODS

For me personally, The fact of the matter is after trying to help people many times I have learned that some people that post here should just go to their mechanic, Next thing you know people are getting upset because they mess up with the advice you try to pass on to them OR they act disrespectful to you for trying to walk them down a check list designed to keep them from doing the wrong thing

What is your question Anyway?
