For towing: 6.2 L with 3.23 or 5.3 L with 3.42

While the 6.2 is difficult to rationalize in a practical sense, it sure as hell makes you happy. Worth every penny.

 

I guess that's true to some extent, but it's the same small block as the 5.3, just bored and stroked a bit and it makes better gas mileage than my 2014 5.3 with the 3.42 and pulls like it means it. So I see no downside, so much so that I'm surprised they aren't all 6.2, with the exception of the hi-test fuel requirement of course. I'm just glad we can still get it what with all the rage going to little-liter fours blown and spinning their little hearts out. Makes me wonder what they'll be like at 100,000 miles. That mouse....he gonna wear out and die, that's what. :)
