Texas vibration problem.

MichaelH69

Question

Been fighting the mystery vibration for 2 months, tired of having an expensive truck that I am making payments on sitting in the dealership. I have a 2015 Chevy 2500 duramax diesel 4x4. All work has been done at dealership. Torque converter, rear ring & pinion, rear axle shafts, tired have been changed. Still vibration. Now there speaking of pulling entire rear axle out & putting in a new one.

Been informed of the vibration issues & beginning to wonder if I have a lemon.

Might be in your best interest to look up Texas state lemon laws. Most states, if not all, have their own interpretation of what a "lemon" is. If your truck meets the requirements to be labeled a lemon, then you may be able to return the vehicle. Keep in mind that you still have to pay for the mileage you put on the truck. They do not just hand you a new vehicle.

If the dealer is saying they may change the entire rear axle assy, then they should also be able to reproduce the vibration in the shop on hoist or axle stands.
