Let's be a little cynical for a moment. In your head imagine what vehicles you think GM tries the hardest on. We'll wait just a bit. OK. Is the list you came up with:

Corvette, Camaro, Sierra 1500, Sierra 2500, Escalade/Suburban and Acadia? If so, you nailed it. These vehicles all topped AutoPacifica's 2016 Satisfaction awards in 2016.

The VSAs are interesting because they cut right to the chase. AutoPacifica surveys 65,000 owners of new vehicles and asks them if they are satisfied using 50 Questions about things like with interior comfort and styling to fuel economy and performance. At the end of the day, isn't what really matters how happy you are with your vehicle?

seems genuine.

The real world lives the answer, if one really cares.. they end up in the winning statistics anyway.

this award stuff is only 20, but matches my world pretty close.

I have done that for years.

the most important part is the head at the front that has to fight the nasty nature of it all, how casually does it sustain... stuff like that.

the rest is the silly satisfied questions.

to get all of that right is never possible, never exact...

but it gets close for some.
