ShamrockShooter
The android auto app on my phone says you press and hold steering wheel button, and after beep ,say text (name) and it should allow you to send a text. I tried it in my 16 but it doesn't do anything. Is the text by voice only enabled through the my link interface?
matt123
When in android auto mode you must press the microphone button on the top corner of the screen. The steering wheel voice button only controls mylink, not android auto. It would be nice if they enabled it to work with android auto. The voice commands in android auto kick ass. It can make calls, text, tell you how far in miles or time a destination is, play any music you tell it to, and also it can answer random questions. The built in mylink voice commands suck. Its a struggle to try to input navigation destination via voice, It is decent at find songs on you usb drive though.
