Two Changes to Polaris Slingshot Line To Know About For 2017

Polaris has announced the changes and updates to its 2017 Slingshot line. There are two noteworthy new developments to the open-air three-wheeled motorcycle line. First, the Polaris Slingshot SLR is a new top-trim level. Polaris says the SLR is the Slingshot's "...most premium model in the line-up and the boldest Slingshot yet." Two-tone paint and forged aluminum wheels are just some of what make that trim special. The SLR will be available in two customer colors, Orange Madness and Turbo Silver.

The Slingshot also is getting a cool new partial enclosure called Slingshade. The net effect of the shade is a coupe-like look and a cooler driving experience on hot sunny days. The Slingshade is just one of 31 new accessories the Polaris Slingshot line will add in 2017.

 

The 2017 Polaris Slingshot starts at $21,999, the upscale Slingshot SL rings in at $25,499, and the Slingshot SLR starts at $28,499.
