Ticking noise

I drive a 2000 GMC sierra and i hear a ticking while accelerating but not while i rev it in park or nutrul. Ticking also stops when i let of the gas. Please help.

Probably either the exhaust manifold gaskets, or everything that holds the manifolds to the block has rotted off. Usually they'll tick revving at idle too, though. Might be an exhaust leak farther down the line.
