Ac not blowing like it use to

Yes my problem is with the AC blower fan it started at 19,000 miles it stopped working I joined this chat to find out what the problem was found out that the resistor was bad replaced it started working again the problem I'm having now is the the resistors are not lasting since this started I have replaced the resistor three times why does it keep blowing resistor

First, you're posting for a Silverado in the wrong forum, so I'm moving this thread and I'll leave a link.

 

What brand of resistors are you buying? All the same brand? Maybe try a different brand. But, more than likely, the fan is drawing too much current. That means either the fan is bad, i.e.: worn brushes/ worn bearings dragging or an off-brand that is drawing too much current. The fix is more often than not, replace the fan.
