Dashboard lights and radio wont turn off SOLUTION

Start up truck with with remote, then turn it off with remote and finally crank the truck up with the key. In this case, I tried it on the 2007 Tahoe and it worked.

Hmm so what happened, are you stating that your dashlights and radio would NEVER cut off unless you did this mysterious ritual? I like for my radio to stay on for the 10 minutes maximum when using the bluetooth that way I can shut truck down and still have bluetooth active while gathering stuff and finishing my conversation.
