2002 6.0 barly running at idle

Hi. I have a 2002 lq4 6.0 that I swapped into a 1979 cj 7 a few years ago. It has been wonderful up until a week ago. Now when I start it cold it will barely run. It revs up and down. Will almost die, then recover. This goes on for a few min until it finally dies. After you run it for a little bit it clears up. Also driving down the road it will start to stall. If you give it more throttle it picks back up and then stalls again. Before to long you are wide open to keep it from stalling. There are several weird things happing here. When it picks back up it runs like it should. If you stop and rev it up a few times it will go back and run correctly for a few miles.

 

I have 60 pounds of fuel at idle and 70 when I rev it up.

I can not get my OBD2 to read so I am going at it blind.

I would suggest fixing the ODB2 connection, so you can get codes from the engine. Or live readings of engine data.
