how to get rid of OnStar?

To start off I know I'm a little crazy and I may not have a logical reason to do what I want, but I still want to do this.

Chevrolet have all this fancy on-board system that for me is worthless. I'm working on to build something that will have just what I want and will work properly.

My goal is to take the satellite radio, OnStar, and CD player out of my vehicle. But once I star to unplug thing, the radio stop working.

Anybody knows how should I proceed with this? Or at least know where I could find that information?
