2017 GMC Sierra HD All-Terrain X

GMC added the 2017 Sierra HD to the All-Terrain X family of trucks this week. The All Terrain X series will be offered on the Sierra 2500HD crew cab 4WD with GMC's 6.0L gas V-8 engine or with the all-new, Duramax 6.6L V-8 diesel. The monochromatic look of the All-Terrain X comes with special content. GMC list the following as the package:

 

-18-inch black-painted aluminum wheels
-LT275/65R18 Goodyear Duratrac MT-rated tires that feature an aggressive tread pattern for outstanding off-road performance
-A unique body-color grille surround with All Terrain insert
-Body-color door handles and bodyside moldings
-Black power-adjustable heated and power-folding trailering mirrors with integrated turn signals, LED rear guidance lamps and LED amber clearance lamps
-Black belt moldings, front bumper skidplate and B-pillars
-4-inch black sport side steps
-Black sport bar (mounted in the bed) designed to support available GMC Accessories LED off-road driving lamps
-Offered in Black Onyx and Summit White exterior colors

-Spray-in bedliner

- Front and Rear Park Assist

-Z71 off-road suspension package

- underbody shield

- heated steering wheel

- all-weather floor liners

- Eaton automatic locking rear differential standard

I love the way these look other than the "sport bar" in the bed, just looks cheesy to me.

I don't know what GM's deal with these stupid retro headache rack type thing in the bed, they are absolute trash and look horrible. And just because they put crappy Goodyear MT's on it it's off-road ready..? Nothing about the this package is "off-road ready". When they make something at least comparable to a power wagon in regard "off-road options" then they can brag about off-road ready

The Colorado can almost pull it off though, with all the rounded edges. On this....just no.
