When I found this video tonight, after publishing the short story earlier, I loaded it by clicking on the Youtube Link and then switched to another open window on the computer. Listening to the car, I thought "Man that driver can heel-toe like a demon! I wonder if he is using the auto-rev match feature on the stick" Nope. The car can match revs pretty well though.

That is the new 10-speed auto transmission with Performance Algorithm Shift calibration set to track mode making all that lovely noise. Watching closely, I dont see the driver downshifting or upshifting with the paddles.

Would love to see tire & brake temperature readings on that run. :)

Does production version also have the speed limiter disabled? The shift mode seems to be taking a lot of input from all sensors so it can replace the need for the driver to keep the engine in the sweet range. If they would just add in a bit more technology the driver could just stay in bed and let the car do its lap on auto pilot.
