You might have heard that Chevy and Carhartt have recently teamed up to develop a Concept Silverado HD. If you're at this year's 2016 SEMA show, you'll be able to see this fine piece of work yourself.

If you're not one of the lucky enthusiasts that made it to Las Vegas this year, don't sweat it. We've got you covered. This morning I traveled to the Chevrolet Performance booth and took a look at the concept in person.

To be perfectly honest, I didn't understand what the big deal with this Concept Silverado was until I gazed at it with my own eyes. The press photos that have been floating around didn't point out the small touches that the brand applied to this concept. In short, the Silverado HD Carhartt is classic, smooth, and a damn fine Chevy.

If you get a chance to see the Carhartt Silverado in person in the future, you won't be disappointed. Until then, enjoy these photos from the 2016 SEMA Show. And if you want more info on this Concept Truck, check out the full details right here.

Definitely looks better in person. Not crazy about that yellow pinstripe, but that's the Carhartt thing. Like how they finally blacked out the bowtie. Should've done that from the get-go in '07.

Would I buy one? Not a chance in hell.

I find it amusing that I get compliments on my truck now, because it's "old". :noway::lol: If nine years is "old", boy, look how far we've fallen!

As the title of this thread reads, it looked much better in person.

These detail photos don't really show how well the different colors and finishes work together as a whole.

I'm not into lifted trucks at all, but if they slammed one of these, I'd buy it !
