Hey everyone. New guy here needing some help. I searched around and couldn't find any posts about MyLink issues. Forgive me if a missed it (I searched, I swear). Does anyone else have problems with their MyLink freezing? It will totally lock up or the display will freeze up (not change as the song or station changes) and the temperature will be way off. How far off you ask? Well, I live in Arizona and the summer temp outside was about 122 but my display read 8. The other day when it was a nice 92 it read 2. Now, I'm no meteorologist but I'm guessing that's wrong. MOST of the time it works perfect. Just kind of annoying.

Otherwise, these are awesome trucks. I've been a Jeep guy for a long time but with a kid on the way, a two door Jeep on 40" tires isn't conducive to hauling around a kid. Man, these things are SUPER quiet.

Anyway, thank you in advance for any tips you may have for fixing my issue. The dealer says everything is good and says if it happens again to just turn off the truck and restart it. Besides that not helping at all, a truck with 8000 miles on it shouldn't do this. Also, before anyone says "get over it", I'm a Jeep guy...I'm used to serious disappointment from the factory. :)

I'm not great with the metric system but that doesn't seem like its reading out in celsius.

Other thing that could affect your temp is if the sensor is blocked from airflow, but this seems to just be a flat out error.

Mine does not freeze and I have not had any weird temperature readings. I would definitely say something to the dealership again and hope they don't blow you off...

Sorry for the NOOB question, but where is the sensor? Never thought about that causing the temp error.

sorry, I haven't located mine yet. I just know that one time when I was plowing last winter in calm air, my outside temp started reading like 60 degrees when it was at least 30 out. so if the air isn't flowing past the sensor it can get wacky readings.
