Interior panel cleaning what do you guys use ?

Recommended Posts

Mix a few drops to a capful or so of car wash concentrate with the rest water (I prefer distilled) into a spray bottle and use that. I am pleased with this after having already armor alled the interior dash and panels. After armor all, just use the soap and water whenever it gets dusty and it ends up looking great and IMO has the protective properties of the armor all, but with all the gloss enhancing minimized.

Depends on what I am after. If I am just dusting I use a damp rag. If I am going for some UV protection I use Meguires Ultimate Protectant on a rag. That usually holds up really well in my truck. It's my dash and door panels that I like to have the UV protection on. Having said that all of my windows have tint on them to help keep UV down also.

Woolite, mixed at a rate of 10/1 work great as a mild interior cleaner. I mix it up in a spray bottle and use a cotton wax applicator sprayed with it to clean, and follow that up with a white cotton cloth to rinse. For a protectant I use 303 aerospace, always sprayed on the cloth, then wipe down. I use a microfiber cloth to buff and/or knock down the shine.

Sounds interestng. The only time I used Woolite was back around high school when I followed the recommendation from the California Car Duster to buy the Woolite.
