Loose mirrors

2003 Tahoe. The side mirrors have play in them where the "pod" connects at the hinge. How do I correct this? Basically, the hinge where you fold them has play in it

On my '02 Silverado the aluminum clamp had corroded and broke inside pivot point. I didn't have much luck with replacement parts, so went with aftermarket mirrors. Just FYIing on the older vehicles.
