2008 Sierra Denali - rear passenger door handle is broken, does anyone know where I can find the correct replacement?

I bought one for my 06 Sierra from eBay. Not OEM but you can't tell the difference

Coby, it is a black with chrome handles.

 

FYI I did order the entire set of door handles from 1AAuto and when I got them it turned out they didn't fit my truck, this was the response I got from their Customer Service

I was not aware there was a regular 2008 GMC SIERRA DENALI - compared to a 2008 SIERRA 1500 DENALI - any info on that for me?

 

Also looking to know if you can help me with this.

 

The HVAC controls on truck didn't have a Exterior Temp when I bought the truck last year, I replaced the HVAC controls and the new one has an exterior temp guage in the screen - any idea if that is correct or not?

I've ordered three, two from Rock Auto and one from Amazon. All were Doorman brand and all were hardly distinguishable from OEM. All are less than a year old but, seem to be doing just fine. After replacing three (and correcting a botched job on #4) I've gotten pretty good at it. I'm sure you have probably looked at instructions online so I won't bother with all that but, I will say to make sure you start pulling the door panel off from the top, inside (closest to cab) corner. Also don't forget to put the plastic access plugs (covers hole in door to access the bolts) back in place. Nothing sucks worse than realizing you forgot them after you have snapped the door panel back on.

Don't limit your search to 2008 GMC Sierra Denali...handles from the 2007-2013 (I think 13 was the last model year) Sierra, Silverado, Tahoe, Yukon, and Escalade will all fit
