2015 Tahoe LT Squeak noise while acceleration

Since I bought my brand new Tahoe 2015 LT and after I drove almost 10,000 Miles, I started to hear a squeak sound that occur only while driving after pressing the pedal to accelerate. The sound goes immediately by keeping the same speed. However, If I remove my feet from the pedal and press again, it comes back !.

I ignored this issue at the beginning as I though it might go by itself. Now its becoming annoying specially during driving in the middle of traffic roads where I have to reaccelerate and accelerate frequently.

I think the sound is coming from the back but its not easy to locate it exactly.

Can anyone give me his thought if this issue has been experienced before with other people ?

If under load like you described, it sounds like a defective tensioner, pulley, or belt.

I think I have the same issue with my 16 Tahoe. Did yiwe ever figure out what you as causing squeaking? Was it as the other comment maker suggested?

Flapper valve in the exhaust system, our 16 just started making the noise. You will notice it happens when the engine switches from 4 to 8 cyclnders. Or vise versa.

Just reread my post...embarrassing how bad the typing was...

yes, same issue as you stated...flapper on exhaust. They had to replace the whole exhaust to fix it; fortunately under warranty so no cost.

How many miles, almost 40000 on ours.

Thinking exhaust should be covered under power train warranty, should be ok there. Awesome, my truck is having the engine replaced at 23000, now the Tahoe will in the shop for a week or more.
