2016 Sierra 1500 taillights in a 2016/17 Sierra 2500

Has anyone done this? Can the new style (2016-17) Sierra taillights and or headlights be purchased and installed in a 2500-3500 truck? Disappointed that GM didn't carry over this model years changes to the HD trucks.

Are you talking the LED tails off of an SLT/Denali? The regular ones are the same still. The 2016+ Sierra HD do have HID headlights though so really no "need" to swap them.

My apologies. Yes the new style SLT/denali.... 2016/17 1500 SLT/Denali has different/updated tail lights (the actual housings) and headlights..... Wondering if you can put those, on a 2016/17 2500-3500 series SLT/Denial...

Pictures would help. I think he is talking about the ones that appear "C" shaped? I have seen those on Allterrain models but that includes SLT and Denali. I like those too. Subscibed.

I know this is old but yes they plug right up. You will need a 3ohm 50w resistor on the green & black wires on each side to prevent hyper flash though.

Very nice truck! Mind if I ask what load rating on the tires and wheels? Looking for new ones but need at least an E rated - wanting a truck camper. Oh, and where the hell did you get that awesome chunk of aluminum? Thats sweet!

im not too sure what the rating is. The billet hook/shackle comes from stackdracks.com
