I can't get over the new look of the 2017 Denali HD, and man is that new Duramax quiet! Though I think the first thing I'd do is throw an exhaust on her to get a little more sound.

The look is incredible, the price, not so much. Can't wait to hear some folk's reviews on how this new motor feels in the real world. That ram air hood does set the truck off well IMO.

Yeah the price is hard to swallow that's for sure. For such a subtle change the ram air hood just does it for me, I couldn't agree more!

I built the same truck I have, and couldn't give an exact dollar figure, but it was less than $800 difference between model years. I didn't consider that too out of line for a new engine.

Haven't seen a new Sierra in person, but I have a Sierra, prefer the looks of a Sierra, but in the pictures I definitely like the Silverado with the new hood better.

Saw a midnight edition this morning, and while the all black isn't my thing, it sure was sharp as hell

The truck looks amazing, however the... Lights... They're still the same as the 14's and 15's I hope to god they figured that out. Just something to keep in mind if you're consider buying one, test drive it at night, on the highway.

There is actually a service bulletin about the headlights on the older models. Though not recalled, if you go to the dealership they will replace the bulbs with the upgraded ones free of charge for you.

Yeah I seen that but I heard the upgrade doesn't help much. I've actually been considering the HID, or LED, conversion kits but not sure which yet

Should be the same as the 16's. They went to HID in 16 and I have no complaints about mine

I've heard a lot of people having issues with aftermarket HID kits. I had the dealer swap out my bulbs per the service bulletin and it was a vast improvement. I also swapped out my fog light bulbs to high power LED bulbs and I just drive with them always on as well. 100000x better lighting than they were.
