6.2 exhaust on a 5.3

Not very easily the muffler shop would have to make an adaptor the 6.2 is a 3.5" pipe at the third cat connection and I think the 5.3 is a 3"

that is a pic of my 2016 6.2 exhaust note that the pipe is flared out slightly to fit over the end of the third cat it is a 3.5" tube.

What he said. The connection piece has to be expanded on the Y or shrunk on the catback.

I put the 3.5" Magnaflow cat back for the 6.2 on my 5.3. Like the others said, bring it to an exhaust shop and they'll be able to weld your old flange to the new exhaust. I did mine this way because I got a steal on the catback, plus it's all part of a bigger plan to prep for the blower install.
