2015 silverado 3500 hd dually with P22FE

Recommended Posts

I have a 2015 3500 hd dually with the lml that has the check engine light illuminated. The code is P22FE. i have it at the dealer and they are telling me there are no NOX sensors available. Does anyone have the part number for the nox sensor?

With all the diesel trucks on the road how do they not have any NOX sensors available!!!!

They are available from GM to dealers. Have your dealer do a double check on that. It is possible that availability was just added today, but they are available.

They just checked this morning. They called telling me that they aren't available.

I just looked again as I did a few mins. ago. Senor 1 (post turbo) is good out of 1 warehouse, and sensor 2 (in the DPF) is good out of 1 warehouse. Your dealer should be able to order the necessary sensor no issue. They are also an automatic overnight scheduled part (GM calls them Service Lane Parts).

My dealership says they can only get them from the Virginia warehouse

? Strange. They should be able to order them direct from GM Parts Workbench which they would have access to. That would then get them automatically overnighted out of the warehouses those sensors are in (Michigan and Colorado depending on the sensor). I could sit here and order one right now if I wanted to, not sure why they say they can't. :dunno:

Unfortunately all GM dealerships in this area pull the same crap. This will be the last GM vehicle I ever buy due to the worthless dealerships around here. The Local ram dealership here is awesome so that is what I will be buying next.

I have no idea why they told me what they did. But the sensor came in and my truck is fixed... a little lighter in the fuel tank due to them having to do a service regen but is running good again for now... The dealer told me they replace a lot of those sensors.
