This is my 2016 Silverado regular cab standard bed Z71. It is mostly stock at this point. It has Magnaflow exhaust, Airaid M.I.T., K&N air and cabin filters, Diablo canned tune, Spyder tailights, and a Recon third brake light. I plan on adding a leveling kit and some BF Goodrich T/A KO2 tires soon.

This truck is actually the second K2XX platform truck I have owned. Previously I owned a similar 2014 Silverado. It had an air leak issue that service technicians could locate, so I traded it in.

I am looking to sell the Centerline wheels and Toyo Open Country AT tires from that truck, so let me know if you are interested.

I have not seen any condensation. These are not cheap lights though, they cost me $340. Spyder makes a pretty high quality product, and I would expect them to last like the OE lights. Initially I thought the tint could have been darker, but they are D.O.T. approved and stand out less on my black truck than the red ones did.

I recently added a couple of new modifications.

I color matched the shark fin antenna.

I also painted the tailgate handle. While I was at it, I added the rear vision camera.

I also painted the silver and synthesis trim to match the truck's exterior.

The backup camera was a very simple modification. My truck came with the locking rear tailgate and the camera plugs into the same connector as the locking tailgate. I checked to make sure the pins in harness were populated before ordering anything. Once I confirmed I was pre-wired, I just purchased the 2016-2017 camera (84062896), the tailgate handle with opening for the camera (23448681) (which I subsequently painted black), and the OBDGenie GM rear view camera programmer (G-RVC). Then I installed the new handle, and followed the instructions that came with the programmer. In about 20 minutes, my truck had the rear vision camera just as if it had come from the factory that way.

If you’re looking for the front valence check GM Parts Direct. I think you would need the bumper filler (84029815), chrome skid plate (23243083), and the air deflector (23496677) to get everything below the bumper that my truck has.
