ok i was a dodge guy before i jumped over, granted this box wasn't for my truck since i had the wrong trans. but everyone that mentioned it loved it.

i would love to have something very close to this on my chevy. granted a custom tune or hp tuners can do close to it, but this offers a little more to it.

it worked pretty good and gave good results, i just got a response from the company they may work on it for chevy but not holding my breath.

if you didnt want the shift kit http://www.zautotech.com/tazer.html

i would be happy with most of these features, but would hate to give my truck up for a car did that once.....

Using a Hypertech 2.0 part 2000, they just came out with an update for the 8spd. In performance mode I get tire chirp on each upshift just like my Transam back in high school. I am not going to leave it in performance shift mode though since i think it would probably create some extra stress on the drivetrain but I did try it and it produced some Yippees and broad smiles on mine and my buddies faces LOL Figure I am running about 460 flywheel hp with the premium tune / dual exhaust and CAI add ons.......... this sure is fun. Old Codgers can have fun too right?

Do you know if this update works for the 2017 models?

nothing like having fun, once i got that hemi tuned with custom 93 octane tune from hemifever, it was wicked got it dynoed with magnaflow exhaust and drop in filter, it laid down 350rwhp at 4k and 338rwhp peak stock was 300rwhp at 4k and 328rwhp for peak

gonna go with black bear tuning for my chevy, but differently need new rubber before the tune the factory good year sr-a isnt worth much, they spin with ease and i have a 5.3..

Not sure about the 2017 you might want to call or email hypertech and check on that. It took them a LONG time to catch up on the 2016 8spd but hopefully they will keep working at it. Their customer service seems to be pretty responsive so far.
