'15 Tahoe LT Headlight LED Issue

Recommended Posts

Hi all. Recently, a section (1/3) of the LED strip in the right headlamp assembly has stopped working. I have looked at a number of service manuals and physically inspected it. I 'believe' that it must be at the LED strip itself, and perhaps the logic board they are mounted to has a problem. I don't think it is a BCM or fuse issue, since it is very unlikely the segments in one strip in one headlamp are fed separately.

Do I need to replace the entire headlamp assembly? It does not appear to be serviceable to fix/replace that strip.

Hello ChrisP,

I’m sorry to hear that your Tahoe's LED strip has stopped working. Have you address this with your servicing dealer? If not, send us a private message and we’d be happy to reach out to them on your behalf. Thanks for being a valued customer, we really appreciate it!

Regards,

Did you ever get it fix? I had the same problem. I have posted a video on YouTube "Help 2015 Chevrolet Suburban LED Bar headlight Problem" The Suburban is actually at Davis Chevy dealership to take a look at it again. If they replace it today then this would be the 4th within a year. Hopefully some how they would get it fix permanently bc I only have 6k miles left on me CPO warranty.

Nope. Just decided to replace the entire headlight assemblies with aftermarket. 2 of those are the same price as 1 OEM.
