4wd dash indicator light won't come on?

2011 sierra 3500HD....

Not getting any error codes/messages...

The 4wd dial selector lights are working and seem to be operating, but the little icon on the dash indicating 4wd is active is not lighting up? Any ideas? Wondering if this is something minor or if I should be preparing for some sort of failure....any advise is appreciated!

In this truck is there a dash indicator?

The lights on the dial selector work, and no error messages and it seems as though the 4wd is engaging. If you look closely you can see there is a icon on the dash for 4wd, but it does not light up on start up. Is it that GMC has a boiler plate dash for different 4wd systems?

I'm curious because I just bought the truck and in the first week had a few problems with other sensors....all seems well now (after replacing a sensor) and I'm trying to figure out if there are other issues I need to be worried about?
