MaineGMC
I currently have 265/55/r20 BF Goodrich KO2 all terrians on my truck. I think I want the same model and brand of tires but I want them to look bigger. Can someone tell me what they think or if they know from their own trucks, whats the biggest size tires that will fit on a stock truck? I may be getting a leveling kit soon but for now I want to make sure they don't rub. Any information would be much appreciated! thanks
SilveradoSaver
If you are considering getting a levelling kit in the near future, I'd suggest hanging tight on buying bigger tires. I ran into this issue on my truck: Thought I'd never level it, bought new tires and wheels, and then decided to level it. When I did I was not happy with the gap and ended up, once again, buying new, bigger wheels and tires.
Boardmember
What height level did you get? I have stock, after market highway tires and am about to get a 1.5" level, kind of afraid of the 2" for the reason you note.

SilveradoSaver
Here's a picture of my truck and you can kind of get a sense of my current tire size, which has filled in the wheel wells nicely IMO. I am currently running a 275/60/R20 Goodyear Duratrac tire on it (with the 2" levelling kit). Sorry it's not a picture of the whole truck; there's a car parked where I'm standing and couldn't get a wider shot.
JevinR
When my truck was stock I had Toyo Open Country C/T's 285/60/R20 no Rubbing or any issues and with a 1.85" levelling kit they're not too small.
amxguy1970
Try using the search function OP to look through out the site, tons of threads covering this exact topic with lots of information, even on those specific tires that everyone has. Google will even give tons of information as well. Tyler
