Muffler delete vs Muffler&Resonator delete.

Recommended Posts

I'm planning on deleting the muffler on my 15 and leaving the flapper. If the flapper gives me troubles I'm going to clamp it open. How does the sound compare with just the delete vs the delete and the resonator delete

My recommendation is always to leave the flapper in place, with the option to wire it open, and to leave the resonator on. If you want more sound, you can always delete the resonator later, keeping in mind that your exhaust will drone quite a bit more without it.

The way I have mine in don't hear the chop. Or its very very faint. I don't have a flapper but I left the resonator. It's absolutely perfect

I just did mine this weekend. Had the Flowmaster Super 10 installed, resonator removed and the flapper tacked in the open position. Sounds good to me, drone isn't too bad or hardly noticeable at all to me. I like it.
