GM Borla and GM Performance Exhaust Warranty.

In trying to decide on which exhaust, I had a question on the warranty. Borla and Corsa Direct have clear lifetime warranty for original owner. Official GM performance parts and accessories I believe only carry a 12 month warranty for most things. So if I buy the GM Borla or GM performance by Corsa am I only getting a 12 month warranty?

 

Since Borla puts their name on the GM one I am sure they would cover it like the others. The GM performance exhaust by Corsa is made for GM so it might be just 12 month warranty?

From what I've been told by the parts guy at my local dealer the Borla gm exhaust is warrantied through Borla, and the GM Corsa is warrantied through GM. So I would assume from that the Borla would have their million mile warranty.

i wonder if that warranty is transferable if you were to buy a used system?
