Alternate way to power reset radio/bluetooth?

Recommended Posts

On my 16 Sierra and Samsung S7, my bluetooth frequently doesn't connect properly, loses its connection, freezes, or does whatever it can to frustrate me after I have started driving down the road. (I know its just sitting there giving me the invisible one finger salute... :fingersx: (no I'm not bitter, I swear...)) :wtf:

Anyway, the only way I know to correct the issue is to completely power the radio down by pulling over, turning off the truck and opening the door to kill the retained power. 9 times out of 10 this solves the problem and my phone properly connects quickly. "Turning off" the radio with the button doesn't work. I can reset the phone but that takes too long and is cumbersome.

Anyone know an alternate way to accomplish this while on the move?

Bueller? :tumbleweed:

Thanks for the suggestions. Hard to pull the fuse while driving :jester: and resetting the phone doesn't work. Its something with the radio. If it doesn't connect the first time I have to shut the whole truck off. Seems a bit ridiculous to have to go that extreme. Oh well... :banghead:
