My radio screen froze up this morning on my way to work. I just hit the rewind button to play back a song I liked and it froze up. No sound at all and the blinker sound doesn't work either. Weird thing is it won't turn off when I get out of the truck. Hope it doesn't drain my battery while I'm at work. Onstar isn't working as well ( yes I pay for it).

My Silverado has been great so far. This has been the most major issue.

I set up an appointment for Monday at the dealership. The screen ended up going black about an hour after I arrived at work. It looks like it doesn't even work at all now! As much as I like to tinker with my cars, I will let Chevy deal with this one.

Chevy said I needed a new radio or radio module. I'll get the part number once it comes in and they replace it.
