I am changing the wiper motor out on my 96 Sierra. Everything went smoothly until I got to the cowl. I was able to un-fasten it easy enough, however I cannot seem to work it off the truck so that I can see what I am doing in there. Between the hood being too high up, or the wiper arms being in the way. So my current question is, how does on take this cowl off as pain free as possible, and after I do achieve this, is there anything I should know as far as the wiper motor uninstall/ install procedure in that area underneath the cowl?

Just curious why you're changing the motor :dunno: If it's because the wipers are doing strange things like stopping in the middle of the stroke or not ''parking'' correctly when turned off there's an easy solution without removing the motor.
