bede
I have a 2013 Silverado 5.3 (7) and just replaced the cam and lifters and had the ECM reprogramed. After getting everything back together I can't get it to start. I have fire, compression and it seems like too much fuel. When I try to start it it will only turn over and not even act like it wants to go. I finally unhooked the fuel line and took out the plugs and let the cylinders dry out then put them back in and left the fuel line unhooked and it finally acted like it wanted to start but as soon as I hooked the fuel back up it just seemed to flood out again. I never removed fuel rails from the intake during this repair. It was all removed and installed by only removing the fuel line. I'm stumped! Cam is in time and no codes are popping up. The cam I used was GM 12625437 and LS 7 lifters. After the ECM was done the truck did run fine so I don't think that has anything to do with it. Does this truck have a fuel regulator or is it controlled by the ECM? Could it be a problem with the VVT?
