If you do that, don't forget to re-angle the rear axle pinion upward in relation with the rear springs having the "the proper" axle shim. If not, u-joints will fail quicker, you could have pinion seal / bearing problems down the road. The biggie is by raising your truck you lose a small amount of usable horse power by changing driveshaft angles and increasing the frontal view (more wind resistance). Handling is also reduced.
