94 K5 Blazer 4x4 engine & tranny swap

1994 full size 4x4 blazer...easier to pull the motor & tranny out together or separately? haven't done one on a 4x4

I would assume pulling them seperatly would be the wiser approach, probably much easier. I just finished dropping my trans and installing my new clutch on my 95 gmc k1500 and from what i could see it would be easier pulling the motor with the trans already out. If i were to pull them out i would pull the trans first, than the engine would be alot easier. Just my 2 cents

It all depends on how high your truck is whether you'll be able to pull the whole unit as 1. If your using a cherry picker clearance will definitely be an issue.
