09 Silverado 5.3L brake light on dashboard.

I have had my truck for almost 2 years now, the brake light for the emergency brake has never illuminated on my dash and I was curious if it is easy to check bulbs or do you have to replace all the bulbs as a set?

No codes for a burned out dash light.

 

I have not had an instrument panel out of a 2009, but usually you can change bulbs individually unless its one of the soldered on LED's.

Would I need to pull the dash out or would I just be able to pull out harness and bulb from rear of the dash by pedals?

You will need to pull the instrument cluster to repair it.
