Intellihaul?

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if anyone here has upgraded to the intellihaul option? Adding rear view cameras to the mirrors is not a bad idea. I do really like the idea of having the remote camera for my trailer though.

Anyone have this system and have any reviews? Thanks.

I have had it on my truck since it first came out. Overall it's a great system but it does stretch the distance limits on longer Trailers, my 5th wheel is 41ft and I have 2 bars of signal but it occasionally drops.

I had one mirror camera that got moisture in it, but it was replaced under warranty.

I ordered the system before it was out and when the cargo camera it didn't end up being integrated into the light as originally advertised but as a mount underneath. A little dissapointing but it works for hooking up a trailer.

Biggest complaint is the quality isn't super great and the mirror cameras are useless at night since they don't have an IR cut and headlights wash them out so you can only see a white blur.

An minor issue is the mirrors from the left and right of the truck are not level so your picture isn't mirrored when you have it set up to view the mirrors side by side.

I wish there was more options to add additional cameras like front facing or additional rear cameras beyond the 4 options.

Would I do it again, yes, but compared to other manufacturers it is lacking in quality and performance.

Im just thinking about the Trailer wireless cam. My trailer is only 25ft so shouldnt be a problem. This way i can hook and unhook the trailer with the stock truck b.u cam and not worry about the back of the trailer when parking etc. Thanks guys.

Good feedback - I have the system as well... I have one mirror that is a little foggy as well. Mine is the passenger side. So did you call them or take to the dealer?
