A modern full size slot car.

As it should IMO. The Tesla is an AWD, with zero shifting, and a power curve unmatched by any fossil fuel motor. I'd rather have the Z06 as well.

No V8 rumble. :happysad:

Electric vehicle. What an overpriced piece of crap!

I wouldn't go that far...It's an amazing piece of machinery, gotta give it that.

Impressive tech but zero interest. Range is weak, recharging it takes too long for it to be useful on road trips. Lots of money for mediocre build quality.

I wonder how many trips down the 1/4 mile it can go before it has to recharge?

I'd take a Tesla. Free is free, that is if it was free. :)

Hmm, I wonder if it has fluid in the gear boxes? It shows up on the AMSOIL look up guide but then directs one to contact AMSOIL's tech services.

Probably on the 3rd 1/4 mile past a Chevy Sonic would blow it away.

That's the biggest problem with electric vehicles, it would probably take 6 days to go from Maryland to Florida due to waiting on your car to recharge.

You all can hate the Tesla all you want, but I think a civilized 10 second sedan that does 0-60 in 2.3 seconds is pretty bad ass, no matter what. Sure it needs charged, but I've seen slower cars trailered to the track.
