Nice, but hard to justify comparing to fullsize cost

I think most people looking seriously at one of these is really looking for something smaller than a fullsize and not comparing cost to size. Premium product consumers generally accept that there's a higher cost to get something special.

Saw a fully loaded, diesel model at one of my local dealers too. I like it and if I was thinking of going midsize, I'd seriously consider it. I really can't justify the price versus full size... and well I'll be honest.. I just like driving a full size better. I may take this for a test drive for fun anyhow.

I was really thinking hard of trading in my Sierra on one of these but I priced one out and it came out to $50,800 for a well equipped diesel.  for that money for that size I'd rather get a Jeep, but I think what's really stopping me is I would just feel cramped inside it coming from a full size crew cab.

Keep us in the loop if you do it! Lots of pics! These ZR2's are very cool little trucks! Excellent mileage and torque with the Baby D.

Dealer near me has a couple loaded ones for $4k off. These rigs are on my radar for next spring but mine won't be like what seems to be on the lots- I want the usable bed so it'll be an extended cab and a gasser. Not paying $3000+ more to use more expensive fuel and be slower on the highway where every truck spends 99% of its time.
