2017 Silverado Double Cab Under Seat Storage

Recommended Posts

Looking for some tribal knowledge on the options for a 2017 double cab under seat storage system. Found a couple of threads talking about earlier models that got me looking at the OEM and aftermarket solutions but fit on the 2017 seems to be different.

Found this thread: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/181026-under-seat-storage/?hl=under%20seat%20storage

That got me looking at Du-HA and Husky but when you look up the OEM part number 23183670 it looks like the center piece is very slim compared to the pictures of the 2016 options.

Du-Ha on one page shows they don't have an option for the 2017 yet http://www.du-ha.com/ but if you click on the 2014-2016 option it says it fits the 2017 as well.

Really like the Du-Ha option better but looking at the OEM I don't think it will fit.

Anyone here have the Du-Ha or another model in you 2017 that can provide some clarification on fit?

I've been looking at these for my 17 Denali CC. From the pictures the Husky looks more OEM/finished to me than the DuHa and it's also a few bucks cheaper. I'm fairly certain that all the OEM plastic goodies (underseat storage, splash guards, fenderwell liners for some trucks) are all made by husky anyway for the various MFG's and rebranded.

In shopping around for my 17, it seems many companies don't have 2017 data yet (odd, since they've been out so long) but the vast majority of products that fit 16s fit 17s as well. I doubt there has been any significant change to the floor or rear seat from 16-17, so it most likely fits your truck.

I have the Husky underseat storage bin in my 2017 double cab. I like it, it holds a ton of stuff and has a nice factory look to it. I've got it full with jumper cables , tow strap, snatch strap, tie downs, bungee cords, a tarp, gloves, snow broom, ice scraper, and a few other miscellaneous items.

I went with the Husky over the Du-Ha because of the more factory look, cheaper price, and saved on some shipping costs ordering it alongside front & rear Husky floor liners.

I went with the Husky simply for price; having to pay extra for something that should be standard on a $48k truck (and is standard on cheaper Colorados and Rams) is egregious. I could care less about how it looks as it is covered by the seat anyway.

had a du-ha on my 2014, worked great! still have it, if you live in socal, you can come pick it up for free.

Already ordered the Du-Ha... New Hampshire might be a bit to far to pick up... even free, but thanks for the offer!
