I just ordered a Araid MIT and am also looking at swapping mufflers, I am going to leave the flapper and resonator. Have any of you guys put a Brola Pro XS muffler on your truck, If so how has it worked out, I am looking for minimal drone with a nice low rumble that is it.

I would get the biggest case size they sell - any straight thru will be more sound than a chambered muffler.

 

Most def will GROWL at start-up and beyond and help with drone.

I have the pro xs without flapper and without resonator...no drone because i disabled the v4 option. I love the sound of it, not too loud during cruising but its there when i floor it and when i turn it on

Drone and chopper are two different things - any rig can have drone with certain mufflers......

Thanks, cbrsilv15 gave me a heads up as well and I'll probably order it. Don't suppose they make it single in/dual out as well?

Are you sure that is the GMPP muffler according to the specs its a 32" long muffler, that is 8" longer than the stock one on my truck.

 

I think that's the size of the box it's shipped in. Specs say the muffler is 24"

Sometimes they give over-all length (including connecting pipes). This Flowmaster specs are 22" body length and 28" overall length for example:
