275/70r18 or 285/65r18 *now offset?*

Can't decide....2016 Z71 with Bilstein's on the top setting. I've been set on the 275/70 size for a taller and narrower tire for better snow performance but I'm a little worried they'll look too skinny? Any suggestions?

275/70/18s

They won't look too narrow.

I have the Bilstein 5100 on the highest setting and am running 285/65R18 on stock rims. I am very pleased with the choice.

I considered the 275/70 when I was planning my purchase but I'm glad I went with the 285/65. I may have regretted anything other than 285/65

Question--would the 285/65 tires rub or otherwise interfere with on anything in the front with a stock front suspension (stock struts, no lift of any kind)?

I am not rubbing on full lock, full compression with my stock Z71 aluminum control arms.

Can't say anything about the steel control arms.

I found a local package deal with 285/65/18 and moto wheels that have a -24 offset. Being as the factory's are +24, I would assume that's not gonna work?

I'm not an expert, but with a -24 offset, I would think the wheel sits further out from the suspension.

I think you are okay.

Check out this link https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/

Ok thanks. Looks like I need to read up on offset...according to that chart, the tires would stick out about 2.5". It doesn't sound like much but I'm sure it's way more than I would like. Thanks for the link, at least I have a reference now.
