What size shocks do you need after you level your truck?

So I just messaged a dealer about buying new shocks for my truck (rancho 9000) he said that the 0" inch lift woundnt work with my trucks 2.25 leveling kit. I find it strange because I'm using stock shocks right now with no problem, so what's the difference?

It might be a warranty issue due to the lack of stroke in the shock. When you put a leveling kit on a stock length shock, it limits the compression travel and could lead to the guts of the shock bottoming out in the shock tube. Id say it had more to do with warranty issues than anything else. If you can get me a measurement from center of mount to center of mount at ride height, I can tell you what stroke shock you need.

I think I'm going to have to take out the leveling kit and go with the rancho quick lift with a 2" lift built in at the front and 9000 at the back. The seller says it will be high enough to run 35s. I don't honestly believe that. It be great but I'll settle for 33s

Cool. Let me know if I can help you out in any way.

Thanks man I appreciate it. I'm getting no help from the people who sell the darn things lol. I tell them all the info and they are like "ya that should work" "maybe" I can't get a straight answer out of them.

One guy said I could run 35/12.50r20 which like I said be great and another guy said 33 will be tight... both the same rancho quick lift front and ranch 9000 xL rear. I don't want to void my warranty on my axels don't much care about the crappy shocks I have. Would love to buy some 35s before my summer holidays.
