2015 TAHOE issues AC, power locks...

Recommended Posts

My barely 2 year old Tahoe seems to be plagued with issues. Today the ac is not blowing cold. I bought a Chevy for safety and durability. My power locks recently went out and customer services was amazing with assistance. The ac is now messing up. I feel like the truck is problem prone. Anyone else having issues like this?

Took it in, results came back with a cracked condenser and was told they are on backorder with no date because the demand is so high due to so many messing up. How can they just be out of them? Geez...

Wow so many with this cracked condenser problem. Gm doing nothing to help customers you lease a truck for 630 a month on 62k truck this how you get treated. This a terrible pr issue I have 2 tahoes 15 and 16 over 1200 month I will never get this car again! And it's not that it broke it's they won't take care of the customers. At least give rental allowances out. Why should I pay for the car when it's not working for the I pay for it???

You want to buy American and this the shit they pull

I agree. Its just as painful for me as I paid cash for my Tahoe. I thought i was purchasing a reputable vehicle.

Apparently there are so many cracked ones, it caused them to be on backorder. Personally I think GM may be in the process of dealing with it via recall or whatever and they don't want to replace the cracked ones with the same condenser just to have it fail again and are either looking for a replacement one or they are in the process of a mass production of a new condenser to do a recall/replacement

Either way, it's a daily crapshoot when I get in my Tahoe if I will have ac or not.

I have run into the same problem. I was driving home and the a.c. just started blowing hot air. The dealership can't get me in to Friday. From the forum I should get my wallet ready. I have a 2000 Silverado and have not had nearly the problems.

I'm that original owner of 2015 Tahoe LT.

I had to replace 2 AC Condenser already

Never buying GM again.

My service guy even told me "when we see that model drive in we guess AC condensers ".
