2017 L5P noise from turbo controller when opening or closing doors.

Hello all. Anyone else experience this. The turbo controller performed some kind of motion that can be heard whenever doors are opened or closed or locked and unlocked with remote. I can see arm moving with hood open. It's every time since day one. Thank you for insight.

Hmmm. Starkey thank you for replie . I have checked others without the noise. Just kind of annoying I guess.

Mine does it too..... sounds like one of the door locks is re-locking????

I'm going with normal. No bulletins on noises yet from GM but they do have one on the 2.8 baby Duramax. On shutdown it will cycle the throttle blade and I think the VGT actuator and maybe the DEF injector or pump.

I confirmed VGT arm in motion when sound is heard. Very strange all the operation of this when engine is off

Newer John Deere tractors do the same, after you shut it down it will completely open/close the turbo wastegate, if you didn't have the hood open and didn't see it do it you would not know what is going on.

My guess is its related to the electric vein's controller. Perhaps the door movement triggers calibration since its a potential entry movement/start scenario.
