Running board assistance

Recommended Posts

I recently bought a set of go rhino dominator d4 steps for my 17' 2500 HD CC and no matter how many times I try to look at the instructions my brain implodes.

Does anyone out there have these steps that can help me understand the installation?

Please and thank you,

Sorry to rain on your parade.

If you can't figure out how to put on a set of running boards maybe you shouldn't be doing your own mods. This is a simple task and with some mechanical ability is easy.

I found the web site for those running boards and from the pictures I would guess they are rocker panel mounted. Pretty simple IMO. Figure out which end of the support bracket attaches to the rocker panel and what bolts to use. Then the same process to mount the steps to the bracket.

I couldn't find installation instructions on the web site so I can't tell you details.

Good Luck :happysad:

Try a Google search, look for a video.

Thanks for the input. Probably should have been a little more clear in the beginning but the install instructions I received were not for my truck. I've followed videos from google and YouTube and have gotten the brackets installed, looking for more or reassurance from someone who has the steps so I know that it was done correctly. Only way to really figure it out is to do it. But thanks anyway

Hmmm...I looked at the gas and diesel set on their site and the instructions for them...seems very straight forward...

Is your truck gas or diesel?

Side note. This is why I go for the OEM boards. Easiest boards to install, no messing with body mounts, etc.
